This is applicable not only to Software Development Cycle processes but to any kind of process of mid/large size organization.

YOUR ROLE

As an Atlassian Technical Consultant, you will help our clients to continuously improve their organizations’ processes and implement and manage the Atlassian product ecosystem for all teams.

Your daily activities will include:

  • Meet with clients to understand business rules and translate them to functional and technical requirements
  • Participate in requirement specifications, design deliverables, sprint planning, review and retrospectives
  • Configure and customize software on Atlassian’s platforms such as Jira, Confluence or Jira Service Management
  • Participate in the development of solutions and execute testing, training and documentation using industries’ and Atlassian’s best practices
  • Search for apps and plugins from Atlassian partners that can accelerate the development and implementation of several user stories or improvements
  • Operational support of all Atlassian applicational systems
  • Coordinate and assist software upgrades for Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Service Management
  • Resolve application performance and related problems on Atlassian stack
  • Apply built-in customization and third-party add-ons to extend Jira / Confluence functionality as needed, verifying dependencies and restrictions
  • Handle service ticket queues to ensure timely resolution for end-user issues

SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE
  • Technical Training in the IT field
  • Java and JavaScprit knowledge
  • Web Services (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.) knowledge
  • Trouble-shooting skills and ability to solve problems at their root, thinking at a systems level and understanding the broad context of the tools, usability and performance
  • Verbal and written communication skills to work with team members to gather and understand business requirements and translate into optimal Jira / Confluence solutions
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple requests and meet deadlines
  • Willingness and desire to be an Atlassian Certified professional
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing, dynamic, and agile environment

// Will be a nice plus if you have:

  • MSc / BSc in Informatics Engineering or similar
  • User experience with Git and Atlassian tools
  • Knowledge of Windows / *nix systems administration
